Lost in the Lanes: Interior Design for the evolution of a well-loved café to a day to evening dining experience.

We were thrilled to work with the owners of Lost in the Lanes in Brighton when they had the opportunity to expand into the space next door.

Our design put the diners in the heart of the action, with an open kitchen to see first hand the talented chefs at work, and a large coffee counter and cocktail bar. The use of rich toned timber and a mix of seating ensures the space feels warm and intimate. There is favourite dining spot for everyone – whether a large sociable table, a comfortable corner banquette or a window seat to watch the world go by.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Stickland Wright’s interior design process began by testing out how the existing café could be extended and enhanced by occupying the additional space next door. A design direction was developed to help solidify the existing café brand, allowing it to shine as a unique destination in the bustling city centre.

Our detailing and fit-out services, part of SW+, brought the design concept to life, meticulously specifying every element to craft a thoughtfully designed and optimized café interior. We developed a comprehensive tender package with precise construction drawings and provided hands-on support throughout the build, ensuring seamless execution.
