The existing venue had seen two failed restaurants in less than 3 years and so it was critical to address the negative design issues of the existing awkward and vacuous space.

The new design concentrated on creating an intimate, warm and vibrant environment with inspiration taken from the buzz of an Indian street market. Lighting was crucial in creating a sense of allure, and naked bulbs hang haphazardly over the tables adding additional authenticity. The attention to detail in the design is apparent throughout including micro details such as the hand hammered metal menu holders and colourful Indian artefacts adorning the walls.
