Workplace

A vibrant workspace to inspire collaboration and innovation.

Our client for this office interior design project in Sussex wanted a workspace that enhanced collaboration and creativity in their team. Our interiors team responded to this brief by placing a vibrant social hub at the centre of the scheme. An open kitchen and dining space encourages team cohesion. Complementing this central area, we designed a variety of breakout spaces ideal for informal meetings.

For a company whose strapline is ‘in the business of making people smile’ we were able to have fun with materials and colour choices. The selection of fabrics, furniture, and decor elements has been chosen to ensure a cohesive and dynamic environment. By integrating playful yet sophisticated colours and textures, we have created a workspace that not only reflects the brand’s identity but also enhances productivity and engagement.

We also prioritised sustainability in our specification and selected products that allow complete customisation such as the ‘working lounge chair’ from Deadgood which boasts 99% recyclability and 80% recycled content.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Stickland Wright’s interiors team began the project with an in-depth analysis of the existing space, the functional needs of the staff, and the brand’s identity. From this, we developed a cohesive and highly functional design concept that seamlessly blended brand expression with user requirements, ensuring a workspace that was both practical and visually compelling.

As part of our SW+ service, we developed a comprehensive construction package, including electrical, lighting, and furniture layouts. Construction details were created for fitted joinery elements and we worked with Love Your Workspace to curate a selection of loose furnishings, bringing together functionality and design to create a well-balanced interior.

In our interiors projects, low energy design begins with reuse as a core principle. For this office, we retained nearly the entire interior shell, minimizing waste and preserving existing materials. Beyond reuse, our next priority is selecting recycled and recyclable materials, to reduce the environmental impact of new elements while maintaining high-quality design.
